Warm up and stretch before tackling your spring cleaning chores
I don’t know about you, but I’m behind on my spring cleaning chores. The rain and cold temperatures have not only affected my ability to start them, but professional outdoor services also are scrambling to complete all their customers’ projects . However before anyone starts a project, remember you most likely are not as conditioned as you should be. Therefore, it is very important to stretch, warm up and remember to use proper body mechanics when performing all your chores.
To help you prevent injuries while tackling that growing chore list, click to download a copy of Getting out the Cobwebs. It is a research-based program my foundation, the Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Teaching & Research Foundation (OTRF) and I developed. To maximize the benefit of this program, it is important to follow the recommended number of sets and repetitions while maintaining proper form at all times.
